The Heimann’s came to Helena Habitat after struggling to find an affordable rental that suited the needs of their family. Ms. Heimann is a local grade school teacher who was ready to buy her own home but was not able to find anything she could afford as the single household earner. Ms. Heimann worked with five other families to build a home for her and her children.

They moved into their new home in June of 2019.
